Our full service Preconstruction department maintains our extensive historical database. We perform in-house take-offs on all phases of our projects and supplement these estimates with budgeting from our statewide subcontractor base. This methodology ensures that we have the most current information in our estimates based on both our construction knowledge and current market conditions. Budgets are confirmed at each phase of the design. Other services our team performs :
Our Construction Management team has developed a well defined approach that executes every project in the most expeditious and cost effective manner with an emphasis on team communication and client satisfaction.
We see the evolution of every CM Project having 5 distinct phases. These include Master Planning, Design/Preconstruction, Procurement, Construction and finally Close-out/Occupancy/Warranty.
Our management systems are designed to Control COST, SCHEDULE and QUALITY during these phases. Utilizing these techniques results in the consistent delivery of successful projects for our clients.
W.G. Mills, Inc. has served as a general contractor since 1972 completing over $3 billion dollars in projects. Our team consists of experience professionals with demonstrated capabilities to meet all challenges of a dynamic and complex industry.
Our professional management team consists of experts that specialize in different market sectors. We can provide Construction Program Management services tailored to our client’s needs and goals.
This delivery method is an integrated delivery process which allows the Construction Manager to be involved in the design process and offer valuable insights on construction materials and methods that can make the design more efficient and less costly to build. By establishing a “stipulated price”, the Owner is assured that the cost of the building is certain. By overlapping design and construction and reducing conflicts between designer and builder, the design/build process can usually deliver a project faster than the conventional design-bid-build approach.
Our development staff is skilled in the process of taking projects from initial concept, land acquisition, master planning to achieve the necessary entitlements, site plan approval, design and finally construction . We are accustomed to working with government authorities to expedite the process through channels.
