Sarasota Memorial Hospital Parking Garage

Construction of this 7-story precast parking garage with 1072 spaces began with over 500 augercast piles. The design includes three passenger elevators, three stair towers and a new Police substation on first floor. There are two large storm water retention vaults under the parking garage. The garage includes striking architectural features and louvers affixed to the perimeter.

This project also required extensive s ite work including the rework of Hillview, Laurent, and Arlington Streets a nd the s ignalization at the intersection of US 41 and Hillview. T he intersection of Laurent and Hillview was converted into a traffic circle with brick pavers and landscaping all while maintaining local traffic and parking in conjunction with the local merchants.
